YOUR DAILY INSPIRATION

“Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him, in love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will.” Ephesians 1:5.

God was thinking of you and chose you before He even created this world. If you are feeling rejected, unaccepted and unloved, the Father is saying to you, come to me. I chose you in love before ever the world began and I charted your destiny.

Sometimes we struggle with acceptance. We try to fit in among those that are around us. We feel insecure and unloved and we do everything to be accepted. God in His kindness has made you His child. Your place is among princes and princesses. The moment you begin to recognize who you are in Christ and begin to be confident that you are a child of God; the moment you believe you are a citizen of heaven and totally accepted by God, is the moment you won’t feel the need to be accepted by men.

Confidence in who you are in Christ will yield confidence in yourself. You are an heir of God and joint heir with Jesus. What greater honor can you ask for, how much higher can your status be? Looking for man’s approval often proves futile. Rather, know that you have been accepted by God. Before you were conceived God fell in love with you, and He adopted you as His child.

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:6.

You are numbered among those beloved of God. Seek your approval only from Him.

Lord, I pray that You will help me keep my focus on You, so that I may seek Your approval and acceptance over that of the world. I thank You that You have chosen me and loved me before I was ever born. Amen.
