Topic of the Week, Words that begin with the Letter "P"

P is for Point. Don't point your finger at another. Remember you have three fingers coming back at you. It takes one to know one, so after you finish dealing with your stuff, you are too tired to point at someone else.

Place yourself in their shoes, and you will find that most times, the don't fit.

P is for Patience. Not only with others, but with yourself. Things will come in time, not always as we would have them be.

Don't always push for your way, you can run out of energy. Remember patience is a virtue.

P is for Pull. Pull your own weight, don't carry around what is not yours, and let go of what is not yours to carry in today.

Pull up your socks and travel the happy road to recovery. We are all worthy.

P is for Please. Do we remember our please and thank yous. Do we say pass the book. Or do we say, "Please pass the book."

For me it makes a difference in my motive and my intent. One sounds like I am using others, the others is gratitude that someone is sharing in your recovery and you are glad that they are a part of your life.

Please keep coming so you don't have to come back.

P is for Prayer. Pray to begin your day. Pray at the end of your day and give thanks. Pray when things are overwhelming, not understood, hurtful and just for anything that comes your way, for the good and the not so good.

Pray because God always answers. It may be yes, no, maybe, or as I heard one time, "You got to be kidding." I just have to remember that my God doesn't have the same calendar as I do.

P also is precious. Have you ever seen anything so precious in your life. I hope you have but these ones are certainly darling.
