U is for Universe. Put 'it' out to the Universe and see what you get back. Be careful for what you ask for, you just might get it.

U is for Understanding. If you have no understanding of God, go on a spiritual quest. You won't have to travel far, God will find you if you are willing to look for Him. Continue the quest, you will find Him in the most unexpected places.

U is for Understanding the program and your disease. It is a disease that can be arrested one day at a time. Understand that we don't have to drink or drug, one day at a time.

U is for Unity. It is important to look at what is good for the whole. We have a lot of members who visit but don't post. It would be nice to have others share their E S & H.

U is for "United We Stay Sober" and "alone so many don't make it!" I had to learn about the disease, before I could find any understanding of why my life was in such chaos. The God of my understanding may be different than yours...and that's OK. I didn't like women, had no understanding of women, I worked with men and drank with them, so I joined a Women's Group. I was willing to go to any length to get sober.

U is for Understanding. Through understanding my Higher Power, I learned to understand myself and find reason and direction in my life. By going to meeting, I learned how the program worked. It gave me hope that it would work for me.
