M is for Me, Myself, and I. Which generally means that I am selfish and self-centered. I need to get out of Self and help others. This is a spiritual program with a spiritual solution, which is me, myself, and my God.

I need to be God-Centered and not Self-Centered. To do that, it helps to meditate.

M is for Meditate. Prayer is asking, meditation is for listening to what our Higher Power has to say to us in today.

M is for Mistake. Just because I make one, doesn't mean I am one. Don't negotiate with God, He knows best. Don't negotiate with the Devil, He always seems to win if we don't have the connection with our God daily. Make no mistake, I am powerless without that daily walk with Him/Her.

M is for Music. Music can be a great mediator between you and your God. It can help you meditate. It can help you get grounded. It can inspire and motivate you. It can be uplifting and take you out of the doom and gloom to a spiritual place where all is right with your soul. Add some music to the mix and see what you get!

M is for Memories. There are good and not so good. Always good to remember when, not only prior to recovery, but those times in early recovery. Those were the ones that I didn't want to repeat. Body memories and well as mental ones can cause a lot of pain and bring up issues that we need to address.
