We had a chili cook-off at our meeting place the other day. There were 7 to sample. I tried 6 of them as the 7th did not arrive till late. This chili was head and shoulders above the others in my humble opinion....
1lb hamburger
16oz can Kidney beans
16oz can pink beans
1 can 20-28 oz diced tomatoes
1 16oz can Ro-tel tomatoes hot
1 16oz can tomato sauce
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 ½ tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon cumin
salt and pepper to taste
optional 1/4 bunch celantro
1 Jallepeno pepper
brown hamburger and onion
add garlic
then add jallepeno pepper cut up
add ingredients to crock pot and cook on low for 2 hours.
