REMAIN CLEAN

When we set out to clean, we have to take action. We can think about the house being clean. We can get all the things together that are needed to clean it. We can even talk about how we are going to clean the house. However, if we don’t take the action required to clean the house, it won’t get done. The same with spiritual growth. If we want to be cleansed in our spirit and our minds, we have to take action. God is ready with all we need. We need to go to Him, read His word and start living according to His will and not our own. Once we dig deep into His word, begin to pray more and seek to do His will, we will begin to spiritually grow and learn what actions we are to do to remain clean living a holy life.

SCRIPTURE:
James 2:24 “So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. List ways you have learned from God.
2. Write out what action you need to take to remain clean.
3. Know you need to take action today and stop putting it off.
4. Write one thing you need to do and ask God for help to get it done.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we are so grateful You have saved us. We are blessed that You love us. We are so excited You have a plan for our lives. Help us today to take action. We have all we need in Your word to tell us what we should do. Give us the right mindset to do Your will. Thank You for cleansing us. Help us to continue to remain clean by living in obedience to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER: It isn’t up to God alone to cleanse us. We have to take that first step and continue to follow Him in order to remain clean.

Faith in God is great. We all need to have it. However, we need to take action as we have faith in God to help us, lead us and cleanse us.

When we take the action God calls us to take, we are living in His will and will learn more from Him.

To spiritually grow means we have to take action. We begin with prayer and reading God’s word. He will show us the next step to take.

Jesus cleansed us with His blood. To remain free from sin, we are to take the action required in His word and follow Him.

God saved us when He allowed His son to die for our sins.
