Sometimes it helps me to keep my eyes on the Lord when I remember that his eyes are also on me. His gaze is constantly upon me because he loves me! As I hope in his steadfast love, his eyes stay trained on me!

What a beautiful picture of the deep and intimate relationship that exists between me and the Lord.

My hope is not based on what I think or feel. It's based on the Lord, the One to whom I look for help. He is my hope. He is my strength, my comfort, my joy, and my faithful friend. His love for me will never fail. And my hope is inextricably tied to his love for me.
