WHAT GOD SAYS GOES

So many times we are let down by people or things of the world. We can’t depend on a lot of things we hear to be truth. We can’t rely on others to do what they say they are going to do. We can’t put our faith in someone’s word or be certain anyone is going to do anything for us. That’s because this world is only temporary. But God is forever. God’s word stands true. God is who He is and does what He says. He is holy. He is to be worshiped. He is God. We can always know what He says goes.

Romans 1:2 “God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures." (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for Your word. Thank You for Your promises. Thank You for being who You are. We know we can always depend on You. We know we can always rely on Your word. We know we can always trust in You to do what You say You are going to do. We know You are holy and want us to be holy as well. Help us today to live as You have called us to live and to do what You have called us to do because You are who You are and because You love us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We can always know God will do what He says.

If we aren’t clear on what we should do, God can help.

When we are let down by the people and things of the world, God can lift us up.

God’s promises are true and we can always depend on Him.

What God tells us to do is what we should do.

1 Peter 1:16 “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must be holy because I am holy.’” (NLT)

Focus: God promises Good News for those who believe in Him and He can help us all live a holy life.
