RESTORATION

When we feel lost or lonely or hopeless, God wants us to turn to Him for restoration. He alone is able to make us new again so we can look to Him, feel more confident from reading His word and do the work He has called us to do. He wants us to prosper in this land and we can only prosper when we choose to turn from our old worldly self and allow Him to renew us with His Holy Spirit.

SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 33:11b “For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says the Lord.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. List any thoughts or actions you have that have grown old and tired.
2. Write down where you have lost hope or feel helpless.
3. Know God wants you to turn to Him to be restored.
4. Turn from this world and turn to God to be made anew today!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, we want to be restored. We want to be made new again. We have sinned and become useless and tired. We have strayed and become hopeless and alone. We want to turn back to You today for restoration. We want to be alive again in Your word and be made anew. Help us today to feel Your Holy Presence in our lives and hearts. We want to seek Your word and step out doing Your will today. Thank You, Lord, for Your restoration in our lives. We are so humbled by You and grateful for all You do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
It pleases God to bring restoration to our souls because we are turning back to who He created us to be.

If we are lonely or sad, we need God to restore our hearts to focus on Him again.

God wants us to remember we can call on Him for restoration when we have strayed.

When we call out to God for restoration, He will make us new again.

When we are restored by God, we will want to pray, read His word and obey only Him.

FOCUS:
Psalm 51:12 “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” (NLT)

Only God is able to restore our hearts, minds and lives. He is the only One we should turn to for restoration.
