It is Good

"It is good to praise the LORD...to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night." Psalm 92:1, 2

The secret to a joy-filled life is to praise the LORD morning, noon and night. When we are in an attitude of praise, our focus is pointed heavenward. With our eyes pointed to the LORD, all aspects of our lives come into clear focus, and we see the circumstances of our lives through heaven's eyes. There is so much for which to praise the LORD! Let us begin each morning proclaiming His love. His love for us is too awesome! He gave us his most prized possession, His Son, that we might have life and have it abundantly. Talk about a rags to riches story; His love adopted us as His children! We can never begin to praise Him for all the love He has shown us! As the evening falls, and we ready ourselves for sleep, let us reflect upon the Father's faithfulness, and how He has never given up on us. He keeps on being faithful even when we don't deserve it. There is so much in life that we take for granted, and yet the LORD remains faithful to us, even when we don't acknowledge His hand in our lives.

Father, thank you for all you are and all you do in our lives. Let us never lose sight of your undying love for us. Let the realization of the depth of your love flood over us and cause us to sing! Help us to wake each morning with thoughts of your love on our hearts and words of praise on our lips. Fill our entire day with thoughts of you, and as we drift off to sleep, may we reflect upon how faithful you have been to us. Let us never forget how faithful you are to us each day. Help us to crowd out the cares of the world by filling our lives with praise for you! Amen
