FINANCIAL STORMS

Most of us have had financial struggles in our lives. We may have lost a job. We may have taken a cut in pay. We may have had unexpected bills come in. It is like we are in a huge storm and can't see our way out. We feel like we are drowning in debt. No matter the financial situation, the solution is the same. We are to trust in God. We are to depend on Him. God is able to help us in any storms of life. We all have them. No matter what we are dealing with, God can help.

SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 43:2 "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. Write down what storms you have been through in life.
2. Write about how you dealt with them and the outcome.
3. Know God wants to be with you in all your storms.
4. Know He can calm the waters, be with you and help you along the way.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we want to remember how close You want to be to us. We want to remember You can guide us to a safer place when we are frightened by the storms in life. We know You can protect us. We know You can help us. But we also know we need to come to You and depend on You. Help us to stay in Your word and keep our focus on You as we deal with all the storms in our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
We can have peace when we focus on God rather than our current financial situation.

Many of us have been or are still in deep debt regarding our finances. God can help us find a way out.

We shouldn't let our debt control us. We should focus on God and ask Him for His guidance on what we should do.

There are many reasons we have debt in our lives. No matter the reason, God can help us get out of it.

God will be with us in any storm or trouble we have. Financial problems are just as difficult as any other problem. Go to God for help.

FOCUS:
Proverbs 10:25 "When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation." (NLT)

When we focus on God during the storms of life, He will protect us and help us.
