Coming To The Rescue

No one is ever coming to our rescue though a lot of us are waiting for this to happen it never does. We are the only ones who are able to do this for ourselves, no one else is even close to being capable of this for us, only us. And it begins for all of us by us becoming willing to do something that's different from what all of us have been doing up to now, by the time we all get to the doors of recovery. This wasn't working for any of us, but there are only a few of us, who are ever ready to begin to try to look for something else, that would work, something that was new to all of us that might work, and then become willing to try do that instead. In this life of ours there are no magic wands or secret formulas that's ever going to be able to do for us what we all need to be doing for ourselves. If we want to save ourselves and are willing to become ready for something else then we can become one of the millions of people who have joined recovery and found that, otherwise we can all stick with what's not working. The choice is left up to each of us to make for ourselves, but we all need to be clear on one thing, there's nothing that's coming to the rescue, we're only ones who can do that for ourselves, no one else can ever do this for us.
