What We Need
 

WHAT WE NEED

Just about every successful entrepreneur and CEO of a company knows their top priority is to meet the needs of their customers. When they meet the customer’s needs, the customer is happy and chooses to continue to do business with them. Successful speakers know to find out the needs of their audience and speak on how they can get their needs met. We are needy people. We are always searching for something we believe we need. However, when we teach others their needs can be completely filled only by God, we are giving them exactly what they need. When we share God’s word and our stories of how He has met our needs, we are doing what He has called us to do.

SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:19 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. Write how God has met your needs.
2. List any unmet needs you are praying about.
3. Know God will always give you what you need.
4. Continue to trust in Him and share with others how God has met your needs.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we know we sometimes think we need so many things even when You tell us You are all we need. Help us to remember the things we believe we need are not as important as You. We want to seek You to meet our needs. Remind us as we go through our day to put our trust in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
When we teach others their needs can be completely filled only by God, we are giving them exactly what they need.

No one can complete us as God can. Maybe we need to stop seeking man’s approval and start living to please God.

When we share God’s word and our stories of how He has met our needs, we are doing what He has called us to do.

When we give to others what God has given to us, He can meet their needs through us.

FOCUS: Hebrews 13:16 “And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.” (NLT)

We can share what God has given us with others who are in need. That gives us opportunity to tell them about Him.
