Today I will ...begin a lifestyle of praying three times a day. DR

Wow, only three, I must be doing something wrong. Perhaps one in the morning, one at night and at least three in between.

Today I will ...return to the Lord in my heart and receive his grace and forgiveness. RR

Today I will ...reflect God's love, even to those who treat me harshly.

Today I will ...resurrect a languishing friendship by expressing my heartfelt sorrow and following it up with actions that will reconcile me with my friend.

August 5

Today I will ...walk in the joy of the Lord and allow whatever sorrow I must face to be tempered by the promise of his future grace.

August 6

Today I will ...place praise at the head of my life because God loves me and enables me to conquer all evil.

August 7

Today I will ...return to the Lord in my heart and receive his grace and forgiveness.

August 8

Today I will ...reflect God's love, even to those who treat me harshly.

August 9

Today I will ...commit myself to telling the truth in all circumstances, no matter what the consequences.

August 10

Today I will believe in God's unchanging mercy, even when it is not apparent.

August 11

Today I will ...keep my eyes open for the little ways in which the Lord expresses his love for me.

August 12

Today I will ...remember where I came from and ask the Lord to show me where I am going.

August 13

Today I will ...choose to "re-prioritize" my life. I will not be too busy to spend time with God, but put him first in my life.

August 14

Today I will ...be conscious of my response to God's light of conviction shining on me, and strive to move toward that light, not away from it.
