The Eyes of the LORD

"For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil." 1 Peter 3:12

Whatever your circumstances, God sees. Whatever you cry out to Him, He hears. He knows who is your enemy and He is at work to protect you. Ultimately, His good will prevail over Satan's evil in your life. What hope this brings amidst despair! When life is hard, as it will be for each of us at times, we have the assurance that our Father in heaven is there with us. He sees the problem, He hears our distress and He is working to take care of the problem. That is where trust must come in on our part.

We must trust God to do what He has promised even when we do not understand why it is taking so long, or why He is going in a direction that we would not choose. Our Father is sovereign and He knows all, He will make all things to work our good. That is His promise to us. So, take comfort in the fact that He is there with you in every experience. He sees, He hears and He will take action. Our job is to wait, to believe He will do what He has promised, and then to watch as He takes charge of the situation and uses it for our eternal good.

Father, thank you for always being there for us. What a blessing to know that you are watching over us, and that you see all that comes into our lives! You hear our prayers and our cries for help and you will take action. We are blessed beyond words to have such a caring Father as you. Help us to be patient in the waiting. Keep our faith strong in your promises and fill us with joy as we watch you work in our lives! Amen Quiet Waters
