Is Not Us
 

Recovery for a lot of us goes against the grain of what we've all been taught and learned about how one succeeds in life. While what we've all learned will be needed and is necessary if we all want to have success in our life it does all of us little good with helping us with our recovery. Recovery is based on all of us knowing that there is something that is more powerful than who we are, and then for all of us to learn how we can come to rely on this to help us, without us doing this none of us ever get well. These are just the facts as they are for all of us and we've all been trying to figure out how to learn what we could do about them. Up to this point what others have told us on how to succeed in life may be very good indeed but we all need to know that this won't, and never does any of us any good when we all have tried to use this to help ourselves with what all of us have. We have tried to do this over and over. It just does not work, what does work, is not us, it's got to be something other than us. There's nothing the matter with us relying on something else to help us millions millions of people have been doing this for thousands of years, but the idea of using this to help us with what we have is new to all of us, and if we what to find out more about this and how we can all use this to become successful in dealing with what all of us have, then welcome to recovery the only place on earth where we can.
