Erna pressed the button to hear the phone message.
Tears flowed as she recognized a voice she hadn’t heard in 31 years.

The friends had disconnected after Erna’s family moved away.
The message said, “Hi, this is Jenny. You don’t know what you’ve done for me.”
More tears flowed as the women re-established their friendship over the phone.

Jenny had been distraught, believing God hadn’t used her. What purpose had her life served?

Then she discovered how God had used her in Erna’s life.
Not only that, but now thousands would hear about it on Women Today.

You see, Jenny had been instrumental in bringing Erna to Christ!
In God’s perfect timing, Jenny was given this reminder. Her life DID have meaning!

Dear one, God may use you to show His encouragement today.

Love it, so many times over the years, I have a thought of someone, said a prayer, only to meet them on the street or get a phone call.

When I am hurting, the phone will ring, I get a message from the board that heals and empowers me, or I pick up a book or turn on the TV, and the words I see and hear are just what I need.

As they say, `God is never late.`
