Don't Worry

DON'T WORRY

What causes people to worry? Maybe things from their past. Maybe uncertainty about the future. Maybe less focus on God. Many things cause worry and that is exactly what Satan wants. He wants us to worry and doubt. He wants us to worry about the weather. He wants us to worry about our money. He wants us to worry about our family. However, worrying helps nothing. God tells us not to worry but to have faith in Him. If we want to be a positive influence on others we need to stop worrying and start showing we have faith in our God who is able to do anything!

Philippians 4:6 "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know it is so easy to get our minds focused on what could be and soon we are worrying about something that hasn't even happened. We know Satan wants us to worry and doubt and keep our minds off of You. Help us and remind us today that we don't have to worry. We can pray. We can focus on You. We can tell You what we need and thank You for all You have done. Help us not to worry about today, tomorrow and anything at all. Help us keep our focus on You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

If we want to be a positive influence on others we need to stop worrying and start showing we have faith in our God who is able to do anything!

God wants us to stay focused on Him for many reasons. One reason is so we won't worry.

Satan wants us to worry and doubt so we will take our focus off God.

Staying in God's word will remind us how great He is and how we shouldn't worry because He is in control.

Why worry about tomorrow when we have so much to deal with today?

Matthew 6:34 "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today." (NLT)

Focus: Worrying does nothing but cause us to move away from God.
