Believe in the Lord your God and you will be able to stand firm.!

Today’s Thought:
‘Tis the season the world says “Believe!” But we believers “Believe” and stand firm in our belief all the time, in season and out of season.

We believe that Jesus was God’s Gift of Love to the World, for God’s word says: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11)
So as we believe, we also need to share what we believe, especially at this time of the year.

Jesus was born. There is historical evidence that He existed. Even though his birth was not on December 25th, for scripture says: “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” Luke 2:1 . (Shepherds in Bethlehem would not be in the fields in December.)

Jesus was God’s Gift to the world! Scripture says, ” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17.

So, though the exact day of His birth is unknown, we can choose to celebrate His birth and give thanks to God for His wonderful Gift to us anytime we choose to! It doesn’t have to be on December 25th, we could celebrate it everyday, and as believers we should!

The world has chosen December 25th, which some say is a pagan day and I tend to agree, yet I choose to stand firm and believe and counteract the world’s celebration by choosing to honor Jesus birth and bring God the glory He deserves everyday, above any and all worldly traditions.

RECEIVE STRENGTH
He is the Almighty
BELIEVE ! IN JESUS
RECEIVE SALVATION
He is the Savior
BELIEVE ! IN HOLY SPIRIT
RECEIVE SUPPORT
He is the Helper
