Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive. Titus 3:14

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Ephesians 5:1

Hebrews 13:5 - 5 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

Hebrews 4:16 — Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25

2 Corinthians 6:16 - 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. Colossians 3:2

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6

The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in those who tell the truth. Proverbs 12:22

Believers have the responsibility today of being God's witnesses, telling the world who God is and what he has done. Do people know what God is like through your words and example? They cannot see God directly, but they can see him reflected in you.

October 10

Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. Proverbs 19:20-21

Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. Psalm 103:2

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Psalm 37:7

1 Chronicles 28:20 - 20 Then David continued, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the Lord is finished correctly.

James 1:17 — Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

October 11

Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. Psalm 62:1

Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops. Proverbs 26:20

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Psalm 37:7

2 timothy 1:9 - 9 For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother; For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck. Proverbs 1:8-9

Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

October 14

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. Proverbs 13:20

Mark 9:23 - 23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”

Stay away from fools, for you won't find knowledge on their lips. Proverbs 14:7

October 15

Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 2 Samuel 7:22

Don't befriend angry people or associate with hot-tempered people, Proverbs 22:24

Stay away from fools, for you won't find knowledge on their lips. Proverbs 14:7

Romans 5:11 - 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
