Faith Through Suffering
 

FAITH THROUGH SUFFERING

We all have had issues in life where things didn't go as we planned and we had to learn to deal with it. It isn't easy to suffer no matter the situation. People try to help us with their words and gifts. While they mean well, it doesn't really help us get through the pain. However, one thing that will help us comes from our own doing. And that is faith. When we have faith in God through our suffering, He will give us comfort and peace like no one else can. Our faith in God can help us stay strong through our suffering.

Romans 4:18 "Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping-believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, 'That's how many descendants you will have!'" (NLT)

Dear Lord, we have read and heard about the faith of those who lived before us. We have seen faith work in the lives of those who are still with us. We know faith in You can move mountains. We know faith is what we need in the midst of suffering. When we put our hope in You, we know You will help us through our suffering. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Hope in God can help us during our hard times.

When we put our faith in God when we are suffering, He will help us.

We can be assured our faith in God will help us in both good times and bad.

Our faith in God can help us stay strong through our suffering.

We won't fear in our suffering when we remain faithful to God.

Hebrews 11:27a "It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king's anger." (NLT)

Focus: When we have faith in God during hard times, we can know He will show us a way out.
