By becoming part of a recovery program as a way to live life can sometimes make us feel like we're so much different from everyone else and the rest of this world. As we grow in our spirituality we soon realize that we are having the same experiences as everyone else is having. Ours is being guided by the process of recovery but what we're going through is what all of mankind has always been experiencing, it's no different. Recovery is just one of the many different ways people go through and process all that we all are meant to go through as part of this life. Although none of us ever did sign up for this one; it's just the one we got.
