A New Day

A NEW DAY

Every day is a new day. When we wake up, the day seems to be the same. We think it is just another day. But it’s not. It’s a brand new day. We have new opportunities. We have new decisions to make. We have new directions to take. God gives us routine but He also gives us a new day – every day. We can choose to make it new and fresh by studying His word and thinking about what new and great things God can teach us. We can decide to share something new with others about Him. We can become strong in God’s word so we can make our days new and our opportunities to share with others unlimited.

Ecclesiastes 11:7 “Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to start new today. Help us to look forward to the day. Show us how to be more excited and grateful for what we have to do. Give us strength in Your word to make our day new for You so we are helping others and being obedient to You. Show us new opportunities and new ways to do our routine things. We thank You, Lord, for our new day and all that will be in it. We want to shine for You, today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We can choose if we want to have another normal, average and routine day. Or we can choose to make this day wonderful and different.

When we stop to think about doing something different today that will make it great, God will give us the direction to take.

God has great things in store for us every day. When we start our day with Him, He will make our day better than the day before.

Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before when we decide to wake up with Him and study His word.

We can begin each day singing God’s praise and tell others about the good news that He saves.

1 Chronicles 16:23 “Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.” (NLT)
