It's Worth It
Getting sober may be the hardest thing we ever do but it is worth it not because it saves from the most certain destruction of our illness but because of all that we get from recovery that you can't find anywhere else. The comradery, the tolerance, the unconditional love to start with and so much more. We become part of a functional democracy without any hierarchy, all things being equal we flourish and grow beyond believe. Try finding that somewhere else.
