Tomorrow’s Work
Tomorrow’s Work
Please do list! Let me speak!
Tomorrow's the busiest day of the week.
Yesterday had its share, to be sure,
And Today has more than I can endure!
But the work of tomorrow sure has me beat!
It has almost sent me down in defeat.
I'm so doggone tired from tomorrow's work
That yesterday and today I had to shirk.
For two full days I've worried through
The work that tomorrow I may not do.
--Stanley Eskew, Sunshine Magazine, July 1971
