May We Never Forget
How our lives got so messed up in the first place is not as important as how we go about straightening them out. None of us have a clue how that's done. Oh yea, we'll act like we do, but we really don't, and deep down inside we know it, because we don't even have a clue how they got so messed up to begin with. We'll listen to what has worked for others and automatically think there's no way I'm doing that. This is the first problem that blocks us all from getting recovery. We don't know how any of this works. Never have never will we can only proceed to get recovery by having faith that it will work. That guarantee that we're all looking for is dependent on us trusting that what we are being told to do is the right thing that works. We all do this by hoping to god that it is. Because if it's not, we're all sunk and somehow we know that. May we never forget that this is it, there is nothing else that works and that many have died looking for that something else.
