Default God Is Waiting

GOD IS WAITING

God’s word talks about destruction but there is also hope. God told people many times He was ready and waiting for them to repent, to recognize what they were doing wrong and turn back to Him. He told them He was ready to bless them and restore them. What a great promise the people had and we have that same promise today. We need to earnestly search for what sin is in our lives, repent and turn to God. We need to ask for His blessings and wait for His answer. We need to use the blessings He has for us to help others and glorify His name.

Ezekiel 36:37 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am ready to hear Israel’s prayers and to increase their numbers like a flock.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we want to thank You for being open to hear our prayers. We want to thank You for the blessings You have in store for us. We don’t always live as we should but You continue to wait for us to return to You. We thank You for Your patience, Your mercy and Your grace. You are definitely all we need. Thank You for Your promises and Your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we turn from our sin and repent, God will forgive us.

We should earnestly search for wrong in our lives and turn from it so God can use us to help others.

We have a promise from God that He will hear our prayers and bless us when we turn from wrong and turn to Him.

God is ready for us to repent and turn back to Him.

In order to have a forgiving heart, we must turn from the evil we are doing.

Jeremiah 25:5b “Turn from the evil road you are traveling and from the evil things you are doing.” (NLT)

Focus: God is ready to hear our prayers and help us
