SETBACKS TO SUCCESS
Read Colossians 4:11 NKJ

A little boy was having a terrible time learning how to keep his two-wheeled bike upright. He fell off many times.

“Give up,” said a stranger. “You’re going to hurt yourself.”

“I would hurt myself more if I gave up,” said the boy. “Dad bought the bike for me to learn on not to give up on.”

Falling down doesn’t make you a failure. Staying down does.

Mark became an attendant of Barnabas and Paul, and he fell. But he didn’t stay down.

He got up, restored and renewed by the Lord. And that disappointing disciple became dependable. Paul said on him, “He is useful to me.”

Fallen? Get up and go on with God. He’ll turn your setbacks into successes.

Prayer: Lift us, Father, from our defeat and despair. Cleanse us from our doubts and denials. Forgive us: in Christ. Amen.
