Default We Aren't Ready

WE AREN'T READY

Ever wonder why we have to deal with the things we are dealing with? Why we aren't rich? Why we aren't married? Why we don't have children? It may be because we aren't ready. It may be because God has something for us to do to prepare us for that next big opportunity in our lives. It may be because we need to draw closer to Him and change some things in our lives. If we want to know why, we need to go to Him and ask. And be ready to act on His answer. When we do, He will prepare us for something great.

Job 11:13 "If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!" (NLT)

Dear Lord, we realize we are going through some hard times right now. We know there are some things in our lives we need to change. It may be our attitude. It may be our actions. It may be an addiction that is holding us back from doing Your complete will. Lord, we want to be ready for the next great thing You have in store for us so we can use it to give You glory and help others. Prepare our hearts and show us what we need to change in our lives so we can be ready for Your next blessing. In Jesus' name. Amen.

If we aren't getting what we think we need, we need to ask God what it is He wants us to do.

God has the answer to what we need to do to be ready for that next big thing in our lives.

God knows if we are ready for the things we think we want. That is one good reason to go to Him with all we need.

God is ready to prepare our hearts for something great but we have to be ready to change.

If we aren't happy with our lives, God may be telling us to change.

Ecclesiastes 3:3b "A time to tear down and a time to build up." (NLT)

Focus: There is a time for change where we have to tear down what is wrong and build up what is right in our lives.
