The Lord is my Shepherd

Oh Lord!
The Lord is my Shepherd, my Guide, and my Friend in the time of need.
He is always there to help me through every difficulty and keeps me from all harm.
He lifts me up when I have fallen and restores my joy in the time of sadness.
He takes me by the hand and leads me past those spiritual wolves along life's pathway that seek to destroy my soul and I pass by safely and without any harm.
He keeps me on the straight and narrow road that leads to Heaven and everlasting life.
He gives spiritual freedom without the liberality of the left nor the harsh enforcement of moral law of the right.
Both would seek to remove the freedom to follow after God with a heart filled with love.
