Default Inner Peace

Inner Peace
I connect with Spirit and peace fills my heart.

In The Revealing Word, Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore explains stillness as “A mental state of infinite peace, rest, and tranquillity where our senses are hushed and we abide in God.”

The Christ Presence within me is my greatest source of inner peace. When I pause, even for a few moments, and devote my attention to silent communion, my cares begin to subside, and tensions fall away.

When I become still—keeping my mind from racing and my body from hurrying—peace has the opportunity to settle around me. Calm assurance envelopes me.

I find true peace when I turn within. There, in the stillness of sweet Spirit, I enter the Silence and rest in the presence of profound love.

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.—Exodus 33:14
