On Thursday, we transitioned Deb into a hospital bed. She is still at home (which was her wish) - just in a safer and more comfortable bed now. She is sleeping most of the day. She is still eating a little each day. Hospice nurses are now stopping by each day. Her vitals are still good but slowly changing as she declines.

We currently have two family members with her 24 hours per day. This has been an exceptionally hard week for all involved. Your continued thoughts and prayers for all of us are appreciated.

I saw Deb and my Mom on Saturday. My other sister Wanda was there too. The pastor from their church came over while I was there. He prayed, sang hymns, and read in the Bible. It was nice. I'm glad that I was there. Deb's death is imminent. She is getting morphine to ease the pain. I was able to give Deb a hug and told her that I loved her. She answered me, I love you too.

Cancer sucks!!
