Managing Interruptions

People checking in, dropping in, calling in…. Interruptions are mostly distracting and disruptive. We can't really stop the interruptions, but maybe, we can manage them a little better.

Maybe we can politely encourage the interrupter to finish or, if it's not urgent, schedule to a convenient time. To curb interruptions at inconvenient times, maybe connect regularly with others, so they can update you or get their questions answered. Maybe establish a ‘non-interruption time’ when you really need to get things done.
