Default Prepare For Harvest

PREPARE FOR HARVEST

This time of year many people have planted flowers. Many have put seeds in the ground for various type of fruits and vegetables. Plans were made long before now to get the ground ready for planting. There will be work to be done to ensure everything grows just right for harvest. Those who plant seeds do not tire of taking care of them because they want a good harvest. They don't give up. Nor should we when we are called to do good. We should never tire of doing good. We should never give up.

Galatians 6:9 "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." (NLT)

Dear Lord, You are so good to us. You give us Your word which brings us hope. You give us Your promises which give us joy. You give us Your blessings of harvest when we do good. Your timing is perfect when we commit to do the work You have called us to do. Remind us we are never to tire of doing good work for You. Remind us to stay on Your path of doing good and know You will use us to help others. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We should never tire of doing God's will which is always good.

God wants us to prepare for good works by reading His word and staying in a close relationship with Him.

God is so good that He has set aside a plan unique for each of us with different talents and different times to do the work.

We aren't expected to know everything nor to do everything. However, God does have a unique purpose for us to follow through with His plans.

There is a time to share God's word, live in obedience to Him and plant His seeds of righteousness. The time is now.

Ecclesiastes 3:2b "A time to plant and a time to harvest." (NLT)

Focus: God wants us to plan, to plant and to reap according to His will and timing and not according to our own.
