Above distraction

You cannot avoid the distractions, the noisy confusion. You can, however, rise above them.

Solitude is nice, but not always possible and certainly not always desirable. Yet even when you have no solitude, you can achieve focus.

Your mind always filters whatever your senses perceive. You can choose what to notice and what to ignore, and that choice is driven by your values, your priorities.

When you are operating with a strong, solid, specific intention, the distractions will not distract you. The cacophony of confusion will not entice you into its bewildering spell.

Decide precisely what you intend to do today. And just as importantly, know why it matters so much, what it means to you.

Give yourself a clear sense of purpose today, that’s connected to all you value. And put yourself where the distractions cannot reach you.
