Default P-O-W-E-R Day 10: Obligate

P-O-W-E-R Day 10: Obligate by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture: When a man makes a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to put himself under an obligation, he must not break his word; he must do whatever he has promised.
Numbers 30:2 HSCB

Today’s Thought: In Christ, we believers are no longer under the law, and we can be thankful that we serve a God who is merciful and forgiving, however, we do need to do our part to be accountable and to be diligent to do whatever it is that God has asked us to do.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I want to pledge my obedience to You and what I feel You have told me to do, therefore, give me the strength to do this.
I know that as a believer I am no longer under the law, but I am under grace, however, I want to be diligent as a good servant would be.
I know I do not have to perform to earn Your love, however, because I love You, I want to do the good deeds You have prepared for me to do for You and I want Your light and power to show through me so that You will get the glory as I reflect You to others.
I know that I cannot earn my salvation, for I have been saved by Your grace, not by my works, and for that I am so thankful, however, I want to show my thanks to You by being obedient to You so that I might bring You glory through my life, that is my pledge to You.
Please show me daily how I might do this, not as an obligation that must be done, but as a desire to please You whom I love.

Today’s Action: Commit to do what God has shown you or spoken to you.
Stand firm in your commitment–to please Him out of love for Him

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
