Default Jump Over that Wall

Jump Over that Wall
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.”
(Psalm 18:29, ESV)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

The great heroes of the Bible impress us with their strength of their confidence and depth of their faith. And as God’s Word tells us, you can do the same great things they did, because you have the same God in you! King David was supremely confident in God — firm in the knowledge God would give him the strength to overcome his obstacles. Philippians 4:13 says you can accomplish anything through the power of Christ in your heart.

We hope this will encourage you to take a stand for God. Don’t ever think that God did great things only for people in the days of the Bible. That same powerful God can help you jump over a wall in your life today! Just give Him an opportunity and you’ll see just how awesome and powerful He is.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
God, thank You for the invincible and unexplainable power which You have placed within me through Christ. My deepest desire today is to be confident in Your power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I think this validates the fact that we can limit ourselves, keep our own selves from growing; especially when we allow ourselves to listen to others rather than our hearts.

We (I) had given so many others the power to instill their beliefs within me. I can now stand for the courage of my own convictions. THANK GOD!

Additionally when we (I) listen to that itty bitty sh** committee in my head. I stunt my own growth. Those committee members can be negative and place doubts and fears & other stumbling blocks in my path. Once i take that jump that drops my consciousness to my heart I thrive and grow. It is within the heart where TRUTH lives and where God writes and speaks the love notes that encourage me to press forward. It is those truths that set me free to blossom, gow and become the person God wants me to be.

It is those truths that help me to do my part to fulfill the purpose He has for me ansd to carry the message of His love, redemption and grace to others. And to those in despair & hopelessness--I get to share the message from my own ESH and what God has done and continues to do within me; to encourage others NOT to give up ignore the miracle happens.

Great reading to ponder thru the day...Thank You!

When I see the title, my thought is "take the walls down, they are generally of our own making." Ask God for the courage and strength to remove the obstacles, that are in our way.

It is not so much as getting over what is there but recognizing them for what they are ad how they got there in the first place, so that they don't appear again. Sometimes they require us to set up boundaries, other times they are because we have given up our power and allowed something into our life that is an old tape or something that we have been told should be there, when in fact, it is not good for us in today. It might have been good in the past but no longer serves us in today.

Sometimes walls keeps things out that should be allowed in. Other times they keep things in that should be allowed out.
