A Future and a Hope
Today's Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (ESV)
Today's Inspiring Thought: A Future and a Hope Jeremiah prophesied these words of the Lord to the people of Israel at a time when their future looked desolate; they were facing 70 years in exile. But, it was all part of God's plan. Captivity would cause them to repent and return to wholehearted worship of the Lord. You may not always understand what God is doing in your life, especially when your future seems bleak, but you can trust that God's Word is true. He is working out a plan for you, and it includes a bright hope for your future.
