Default Wandering From The Truth

WANDERING FROM THE TRUTH

We are to be our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers. When we see people do wrong, God tells us to help them. When we see others wandering from God’s truth, we need to pray and ask God what we can do to show them His love and help them back to His truth. Wandering from God’s truth can be very dangerous for us and others. God assures us if we take time and care enough to bring someone back to Him, that person will be saved from death and forgiven. Amen!

James 5:19-20 “My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back from wandering will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.” (NLT)

James 5:19-20 “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” (KJV)

Dear Lord, thank You for Your promise that You will save and forgive those who have wandered from Your truth. Thank You for the opportunities You give us to reach out to those people and help them. Keep us strong today and aware of opportunities around us where we can share Your love and remind others of Your truths and Your promises. You are truly an awesome God! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

There are opportunities all around us to share God’s love with others.

We should look for ways to remind people in our lives about God’s great truths and promises.

When we take time to help someone who has wandered from God’s truth, we will both be blessed.

God can help us find others who are in need of hearing His word. We need to open our hearts to Him and be ready.

We are not too important to help other people get back on track with God.

Galatians 6:3 “If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.” (NLT)

Focus: There is someone in our lives right now who has wandered from the truth. Ask God to show you how to help them.
