Default Surrender Our All

SURRENDER OUR ALL

When we surrender, we give up. We are told in this world so many times to never give up or else we will fail. We are told if we never try, we will fail. We are told if we surrender, we are weak. However, surrendering to God will make us stronger. Deciding to give up what we want and allow God to control our lives will help us to see new and great things happen. We should surrender our all to God today. We should live to honor the Lord and surrender to do His will.

Romans 14:8 “If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we surrender to You today. We surrender our lives, our worries, our troubles. We surrender it all. Take our lives and let them be totally Yours today and every day. We know we try to much to take control and not let go but we come to You today, Lord, to let go…to surrender. And wherever You lead, we will go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we surrender to God, it is not a sign of weakness but a beginning of new strength.

God wants us to surrender to Him so that He can make us strong.

Surrendering to God means we submit ourselves to Him.

Surrendering to God means we read His word and pray.

Surrendering to God means we follow and obey.

We must commit ourselves wholeheartedly to obeying God.

Deuteronomy 6:6 “And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.” (NLT)

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!

My disease is mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. I have to work the Steps on all levels. It isn`t just about surrendering my disease, but my whole being in order to change. Just putting a cork in the jug, putting the drugs down, doesn`t allow me to heal. Sobriety means soundness of mind and something I have to work on daily.
