The Knots Prayer

Dear God,
please untie the knots
that are in my mind,
my heart and my life.
Remove the have nots,
the can nots and the do nots
that I have in my mind.

Erase the will nots,
may nots, and
might nots that find
a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots,
would nots and
should nots that obstruct my life.

And most of all, dear God,
I ask that you remove from my mind
my heart and my life all of the am nots
that I have allowed to hold me back,
especially the thought
that I am not good enough.

Amen.

Sometimes we feel our stomach, our mind, and our all round anxiety all tied up in knots. So many times, I am the one who tied them. I find myself confined and unable to do, because I tell myself I am all tied up. How easy it is, when we are caught up in our fear, to stop and say a prayer. God is there, He is only a prayer away. Invite Him into your day, allow Him to show you the way He would have you go.

The bonds will be released, the fetters will drop and we can move forward with our life. So much is self inflicted, know that you are worthy of His Love. Have faith, replace it with your fears.
