Safe and Secure
I am safe, secure, and divinely protected.

Like a boat pulls into a harbor to seek refuge from a storm, I turn to God when I seek safety. Despite any storm raging around me, I have the ability to turn my focus from fear to faith. I know and trust that no storm could ever destroy the protection that God provides.

I am always safe and secure with God, but sometimes I need to be reminded. Scripture verses, prayer, and meditation are tools that can help me shift my mind’s attention to God. As I allow my mind to focus on spiritual truths and qualities, my body begins to relax. I keep my attention on my connection with God, and the strength and love that protects me always. Here, with God, I am safe.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.—Psalm 46:1
