Hello to all...my name is Kelly. I am currrently a addict...not quite in recocery yet. That's what I need you guys for. I need some encouragemebt...thanks in advance

Welcome Kelly, thank you for sharing. There is a lot of recovery material here on the site. The Just for Today readings are from NA.

We don't quit with the thoughts, I can never use again. For me, it is just for today, I choose not to use, no matter what. There are tools in the program to help you live each day clean sober.

Hope you will keep coming, only you can really help you. You have to be willing to quit. Many times I have had to pray for the willingness to be willing.

So very glad to have you join us here. Take a look around and please make yourself at home. Any day sober and clean is a great day. It may time some time before you are able to accumulate days in a row but keep on trying. Keep taking it one day at a time. If you haven't yet, then you may try making a meeting either a face to face one or a meeting online. You can find many different kinds of online meetings at stepchat.com .
