Today’s Scripture: II Thessalonians 2:13 (NLT): As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth.

Today’s Thought: It is an awesome thought to know that we are loved by the King of Kings. Let’s live our lives as royalty.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for loving me. Help to live my life as You see me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

*****

Romans 11:36 — For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

All of life is for God's glory. All of history, all of creation, all of our own lives are for God's glory. Life is not about us. Work, play, church, worship, my life — none of it is about "me" — it is about God! We did not choose to be born, but we can choose to spend our lives so that God is glorified.

2 John 5:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

*****

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

*****

Isaiah 9:2 (NIV) The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land in the shadow of death a light has dawned.

Thought: Jesus = hope.

*****

He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. - Proverbs 2:7

*****

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18
