Default Praise God

PRAISE GOD!

When we think about all the good men and women who have laid down their lives for our country, we have a feeling of gratitude. We are grateful for their service and dedication. We can’t imagine all they did to help keep our country free but we can show an attitude of gratitude for what they did. We can also have an attitude of gratitude to God who gave us those soldiers who were willing to die in battle for us. We need to remember to praise Him and thank Him for His holiness and glory.

Isaiah 6:3 “They were calling out to each other, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!’” (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for those men and women who gave up their lives for our country’s freedom. Thank You for creating their purpose in life to live and die so we may have the freedoms we have in America. We know You created them, created our country and created our freedoms. We want to give You the praise, the glory and the honor You deserve for all You do for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is holy. He is worthy of our praise.

When we walk with the Lord, we are walking in His holiness.

If we stop and think about God and all He is, we will feel His presence among us.

The earth is filled with God’s glory and all that is in it is His creation.

“Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth and sky and sea.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessed Trinity.” Reginald Heber

Psalm 11:4 “But the Lord is in his holy Temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth.” (NLT)

Focus: Remember God’s work through others who have given up their lives so we may be free.
