Just For Today – Part 2 — Day 13 - Put On Meekness by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put on…MEEKNESS
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; Colossians 3:12 (NKJV)

Today’s Action:
Just for Today let’s put on meekness
“the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”
1 Peter 3:4 KJV

The world does not promote this type of dressing.
In the world–“to be meek is to be weak”, but in God’s sight, meekness is precious because it shows we are depending on His strength and power instead of ourselves or the world.

Meekness is patience, gentleness, and quietness.
So, in all the circumstances we encounter today if we are wearing meekness we will be like Christ who said He was “meek and lowly in heart.” (Matthew 11:29)
