Default God's Knowledge

GOD’S KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of the world can be learned by most anyone. There are books. There are people to go to. There are shows and movies to watch. And, of course, we can always research something on the Internet. However, God’s knowledge can only be learned through a personal relationship with Him. And then, we will never know all He knows. His knowledge is powerful, alive, perfect and true. There is no worldly knowledge as great as the knowledge that comes from God.

SCRIPTURE: 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. List what you know about God’s word.
2. Write down some of God’s promises and knowledge from His word.
3. Remember it is better to know God’s word than anything in this world.
4. Begin a habit today to get into His word and spend some alone time with Him.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we know Your word will give us the knowledge we need to get through our lives. We know Your word will give us the knowledge we need to do what is right. Your word corrects us when we are wrong. Your word makes us realize what is wrong in our lives. We want to be prepared and equipped to live a life for You by knowing Your word and spending time with You. We are grateful for all You do and we love You, Lord. Help us today to draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
If we want to know how to do anything well, we need to know God.

There is no better knowledge than the knowledge of God. We need to get to know Him better and better every day.

God’s word gives us the knowledge we need to make right decisions and take the right actions for Him.

God wants us to be ready to do His will and can prepare us to do great things when we have a right relationship with Him.

If we want to be prepared to do good work, we need to get into God’s word.

FOCUS: 2 Timothy 3:17 “God uses it (Scripture) to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” (NLT)

Use God’s word as a guide for a life of knowledge, wisdom, love and peace.
