Default Heart for the Lord–Day 14

Heart for the Lord–Day 14 by SGLY Ministry

LOVING HEART
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart…” Deuteronomy 6:5 (NKJV)

“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”–Jesus John 15:12 [NKJV]

Today’s Thought:
Love is patient and kind.
Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.
It does not demand its own way.
It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 [NLT]

A Loving Heart never fails. It is the greatest of all Hearts.
A Loving Heart is to be most desired.
Today let’s pray for a Loving Heart!

Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord, today I ask that You create in me a Loving Heart so I can love You and others.
Jesus said in John 13:35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
In fact, Jesus gave us this as a new commandment that we should love one another as He loved us.
So, God, I truly want to obey Jesus command and I want to have a Loving Heart that will love You and others as He loved, so all the world will know I am His disciple and Your child.
Thank You, Father God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
