Default Treat Everyone Equally

My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. James 2:1

Treat Everyone Equally by Joyce Meyer

In my life, I have learned that it is extremely important to God that we treat all people with respect and honor. They are all equally loved and valued by Him, and we should do the same. We have a human tendency to treat people better if we think they might be able to do something for us, or if they’re seen as important in the eyes of the world, but that isn’t the way God wants us to behave. God doesn’t show partiality, and neither should we (see Acts 10:34). He loves it when we treat others with love and kindness, even when they can’t do anything to pay us back, and when no one else is watching.

As you go about your day, strive to be kind and respectful to everyone you come in contact with, remembering that each of them is important to God. People may not always remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel.

Prayer Starter: Father, please help me to treat everyone I meet today with respect and kindness, remembering all of them are precious to You. Thank You for loving me so I can love others well. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
