KEEP LOOKING

Our eyes, our hearts and our minds need to stay focused on God. We need to depend only on Him to help us in all things. When we look to man for help, we are going to be disappointed most of the time. No one can help us and have mercy on us the way God can. We need to be attentive to Him as He leads us through our lives so we can live as He wants us to live and make the decisions He wants us to make.

Psalm 123:2 “We keep looking to the Lord our God for his mercy, just as servants keep their eyes on their master, as a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we want to keep looking to You in all things. We want to follow You, serve You, and obey You. We know others will never help us or know what is right for us the way You do. Thank You for Your mercy and Your grace. Help us today, Lord, through all the distractions, to keep looking to You for help, for guidance and for direction. Help us to keep looking to You for love, mercy and grace so we can do what is right in Your eyes and be obedient to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We need to stay focused on God 24/7/365.

God is all we need to be strong and live as He wants us to live.

When we look to man for help, we are going to be disappointed most of the time.

When we continue to look to God, we will never be disappointed.

God’s mercy is available to us if we will only believe and keep looking to Him for it.

Hebrews 4:16 “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (NLT)

Focus today: Let’s look to God today for answers and keep our eyes fixed on Him.
